Modulating capacity control of the burner can be
achieved via an external 4-20 mA signal, or via
three-term switching from a suitable external PID
controller. Alternatively, the burner can be optionally
equipped with an integral P15000 signal isolator,
which accepts an external 0-10 V signal, or with an
integral KS20 PID controller.
Burner construction includes a compact burner body
with hinge system for easy servicing, sound-
attenuated air-inlet, Weishaupt motor, flame sensor,
ignition equipment, and digital combustion manager.
Monitoring and control of all important burner
functions and the electronic compound regulation of
fuel and air is effected by the integrated digital
combustion manager. Setting and control of the
burner is achieved using the digital control and
display unit.
The digital combustion manager also allows for easy
integration and communication with other PLC
devices, building management systems etc.
Depending on the protocol required, some additional
hardware/software may be required at extra cost.
